I am Back

I am back and I hope to stay this time. It was at the start of 2009 that I wrote my first and only post here. Seems like a long time ago; simply so because my world has turned upside down within a year. Yes - 2009 WAS (I am so glad to use the past tense here) the most painful year of my life. Twenty10 has not started any better but I think things can only get better this point onwards.
I will be sharing my thoughts on whatever silly thing my heart beats and feels for. Yet to figure out a specific area or topic to write on. There's so much to write about that I don't know where to start. But one of the new year resolutions is to Express Myself and hence the introductory meaningless post !
So here's to the new year and the hope that it brings with itself !
I am back and here to stay :) !!

D - It is (being) written !

Slumdog millionaire, after its 4 Golden Globe triumphs has become the chewing gum of my group of friends. The subjects that we can't stop "chewing" about until they become tasteless enough to be thrown out of our mouths and talks - are called "chewing gums", by the way! But this one is sure to last some days. Not beacause its just jucier than others but more so beacause its multiflavoured. The racey music by India's very own Mr. A. R. Rahman has blended so beautifully with Mr. Danny Boyles clever and sophisticated direction, the acting, the screenplay, the impressively inter-woven english and hindi dialogues, the not-so-bollywood-yet-so bollywood style lovestory .... there is something to chew @ for everyone - right from a die hard masala potboiler fan to a "I only like offbeat movies" - saying hypocrates. Well, fame comes at a risk of controversies and SDM has also started to flirt with some, but for the time being let's not think @ if its an indian movie or british, if its good enough to win an oscar or not, if it shows India in poor light or the darkness is the reality actually ... Lets just keep all of it aside and just savour this beautiful masterpiece that reminds us that - even if one does not have anything, one thing he can surely have is HOPE and that perhaps is the single most important thing one needs. So when the movie ends with D: It is written, I think D stands for Destiny, being written by one's Heart with a pen of deeds in bright blue ink of hope!
